Inspiration often comes from the most unexpected of places, and the creation of this directory is deeply personal for me.

I remember a defining moment during a private night out at Tramp, of London’s celeb hotspots, a few years back. It was supposed to be a retro night of celebration and connection, jamming to E17, yet amidst the glamour, I found myself having reflecting on how so many people — even those in the public eye — can struggle with feeling seen and understood for who they truly are.

During the evening, I had frank conversations with celebrities about the challenges they were facing. One admitted to struggling with social anxiety, another opened up about dealing with a difficult breakup and being out alone on their birthday, and someone else talked about a wardrobe malfunction, petrified of being caught by the paps. These were raw, human moments that reminded me that no matter how polished someone may appear, the reality behind the scenes can be very different.

The tragic passing of Caroline Flack in 2020, highlighted something I had been feeling for a long time: that even the most visible among us can feel unseen, unsupported, and misunderstood. The world can be both harsh and isolating, and it’s often those who seem to "have it all" who face the most intense pressures.

That night at Tramp, surrounded by celebrities who seemingly had it all - success , fame, and validation, was a reminder no matter how perfect one’s life may seem from the outside looking in, we all need spaces where our voices and stories matter.
